With wielding influence on Southeast Asia and the great demand of the Philippine local market, almost all the famous enterprises have participated in the Philippine International Refrigeration Exhibition in different ways. Every year, it also attracts many Chinese companies to participate in the exhibition. Famous participated exhibitors including DAIKIN, LG, SHARP, FUJITSU, TRANE, ALFALAVAL, BITZER, CAREL, DANFOSS, EMERSON, SINKO and so on. The market in Philippines is massive, given that the Philippine government has significantly increased investment in infrastructure. In addition, strong market demand which has long relied on imports has indirectly and directly driven the demand for HVAC/R-related products, in which China has a considerable price advantage.
HVAC/R Philippines is the second stop of RACC 2024 global publicity, and it is also the first time to promote in the Philippines. In the 2023 China Refrigeration and Cold Chain Exhibition, there are more than 20 buyers from the Philippines, whose most purchases fell into the category of engineering. Further down the line, a few of them also participated in the current exhibition, and it is believed that there will be more buyers from Philippines and Southeast Asia to attend RACC 2024 due to the good publicity work. Meanwhile, the organizing committee has also organized Kooling, Hengxing, Icool and Nanyang to exhibit together.
The RACC organizing committee will focus on the features and advantages of the show and brand exhibitors, as well as invite for on-site exhibitors and professional visitors, introducing our VIP services for overseas exhibitors and increasing its’ international influence in the Philippines and Southeast Asia. We will also strengthen cooperation with overseas refrigeration exhibition organizers to jointly promote RACC to have more clout globally.
The Philippines is located in southeastern Asia, with an area of 299,700 square kilometers and a population of about 92.2 million. Currently, there are 3 million Chinese in the Philippines, who support one-third of the Philippine economy. The Philippines has trade relations with 150 countries, and the government is actively developing its foreign trade, diversifying its export commodities and foreign trade markets.
The bilateral import and export value of goods between China and the Philippines in 2022 was US$8,772,563,878,000, an increase of US$567,351,000 compared to the same period in 2021, a year-on-year increase of 7.1 per cent. China is the Philippines' biggest trading partner and source of imports, and its fourth-largest exporter. Bilateral trade between the Philippines and China amounted to US$23.74 billion, accounting for 15.3 per cent of total Philippine trade, up 8.2 per cent year-on-year.
With the rapid development of the construction industry in the Philippines, it will surely drive the huge market demand of the air conditioning industry, and will also create rare trade opportunities for Chinese refrigeration enterprises, so the 2023 Philippine International HVAC/R Exhibition is an important stop for enterprises to explore the Southeast Asian market. At the same time, the full entry into force of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (RCEP) will bring greater opportunities for trade and investment cooperation between the Philippines and RCEP member countries, including China.
We will be the first to bring you on-site reports about the exhibition. Welcome to follow RACC official account, and please enjoy communicating with friends who are going to the exhibition! Wish all the exhibitors embrace more overseas order here!
